The Digital Map Viewer application has been updated with the 2024 Property and Zoning map books. In addition, the Map Wizard application may be used to create free, print-ready maps of official Fairfax County map book data with custom scales and extents.

The 2023 GIS Excellence Gallery online interactive collection showcases the GIS-related work of Fairfax County employees and agencies over the last year.
Representatives from county agencies were on site at the Government Center on GIS Day 2023 to demonstrate and discuss the spatial tools and products that help them in their work, improve business processes, and engage and inform the public.

ArtsFairfax, the nonprofit designated as the local arts agency for Fairfax County, has unveiled a new web application designed to identify and map public art in Fairfax County. Free and easy to use, the interactive app empowers County residents to share what they see as public art in their community. ArtsFairfax worked closely with the Fairfax County Department of Information Technology’s GIS & Mapping Services Division to develop the workflow and application’s user experience.
